Detroit police looking for suspect in connection to fatal hit-and-run

Detroit police are looking for a suspect connected to a hit-and-run Friday that killed a 60-year-old woman. 

A driver of a gray utility pickup truck was turning north on Greenfield from Joy Road around 7:35 p.m. when the car hit the woman crossing the road, according to police. After hitting the woman, the driver continued to drive without stopping, police said.

The 60-year-old woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Detroit police are looking for a suspect connected to a hit and run Friday that killed a 60-year-old woman.

Detroit police describe the truck as a four-door gray utility truck, potentially a Chevy Silverado with tool boxes in the truck bed.
