Great scouts
GREAT BEDWYN: The village scout group held a sale and raised £1,200 for the Great Bedwyn Youth Group. Youth leader Shelley also raised £51 for her NSPCC London marathon. The charities Bedwyn Playgroup and Afrikaya school in The Gambia also benefited from the sale on March 30.

PEWSEY: William and Nell Brewis of 70 Gregorys Bank, Worcester, have asked planners if they can make internal alterations and various external fenestration alterations to a listed farm house at Church Farm, Forest Road Wootton Rivers near Pewsey.
Town on TV
MARLBOROUGH: The broadcast of “Marlborough in Bloom” has been changed from Friday to this Saturday at 5pm on BBC2.
May Day Fair
SHALBOURNE: The village May Day Fair will be on Monday, May 6, from noon to 4pm on the village sports field with stalls, craft, dog show, food and live music.
Hotel fundraising
CHILTON FOLIAT: The Littlecote House hotel has raised £32,834 for Macmillan Cancer Support in two years with charity boxes and coffee mornings.
