A man has died following a crash involving a BMW and a 4x4 towing a trailer in Newchapel, a small village near Lingfield.
Surrey Police said the crash happened in West Park Road at around 4pm on Thursday afternoon (March 21).
A police statement said: "Officers were called following a report of a collision involving two vehicles, a BMW and a 4x4 towing a trailer.
"One man was pronounced dead at the scene while two other men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"The next of kin has been informed. All three were travelling in the BMW. One person in the 4x4 suffered minor injuries."
Surrey Police says it is continuing to appeal for witnesses, particularly anyone who saw the manner of driving of either vehicle before the collision, and anyone who may have dash cam footage capturing what happened.
