Glasgow schools have been ranked in a special league table based on the number of pupils attaining five or more highers.

The figures, published by The Times, list all schools in Scotland and we have narrowed it down to just the city wide results.

In Scotland, Jordanhill Secondary School is crowned the best with 83 per cent of pupils attaining five or more awards at SCQF Level 6.

Dunblane High School in Stirling and Mearns Castle High School in East Renfrewshire completing the top three - with 76 per cent and 75 per cent of pupils respectively hitting the five higher mark.
