There's a gin and rum festival happening in Glasgow this summer

Street food, live music and lots of tipples to sample... This sounds rumbelievably gintastic

There's a festival celebrating two of our favourite tipples in Glasgow this summer.

The UK's Gin and Rum Festival is coming to the Briggait this August, where you can sample from a host of guest distillers, eat street food, drink at themed bars and get a free goodie bag with two miniature bottles to boot.

And If you're really thirsty for knowledge, there are a number of talks and masterclasses hosted by gin and rum makers telling all about their craft. It's all very educational. Honest.

Organisers said: "Whether you are a gin-genius or a new convert, our expert staff and complimentary masterclasses will help you discover new flavours to savour, while our resident DJ and amazing live entertainment keep the party going. Remember to bring your dancing shoes!"

The Gin and Rum Festival takes place on Friday August 21 and Saturday August 22. Tickets are £15 and you can get them on Eventbrite. Here's the event page on Facebook for more info.
