Fans of the dark, sinister arts are in for a real treat - with the news that there is a folk horror occult escape room taking over a subterranean Glasgow bar and club venue next month.

'The Devil Made Me Do It' is described as a "devilishly mysterious horror escape room game delving into the world of cults, curses, Satan worship and witchcraft" by organisers Popcorn Horror.

Running for one day only on Sunday, February 23, players who take part in the escape room must solve a series of puzzles and riddles to uncover the horror story of remote island abandoned settlement Wychmouth Island.

The event takes place at basement bar and club venue The Flying Duck on Renfield Street in the city centre.

With organisers telling Glasgow Live: "This is our second escape room. We hosted 'The House With Neon Windows' two years ago and had a great experience. This time we're looking to tap into the traditions of folk and occult horror. (Think - The Wicker Man, Midsommar, Blood on Satan's Claw)".

Each game lasts for one hour, with tickets are available as single player, two players and four players - with approximately 12 people playing each game.

The game can be completed in several different orders, meaning that players can team up as they prefer.
