A Glasgow venue has received a visit from two of our favourite famous faces as beer gardens reopened to the public.

Lewis Capaldi and Glasgow DJ Jackmaster popped round to SWG3 yesterday as the west end venue opened its doors to the public for the first time since lockdown began.

Jackmaster shared the moment of the two musicians meeting on his Instagram, with the caption "Ye love tae see it".

The pair were just two of the punters that made their way to beer gardens across Glasgow as lockdown restrictions continued to ease.

After a wet and windy couple of weeks, the rain stayed away, even if thirsty customers still needed to bring their jackets, as temperatures reached highs of around 16 degrees.

The weather moving into the weekend is going to be changeable, but largely dry with sunny spells.

However, in the (fairly likely) event that we're hit with rain, many bars and restaurants are implementing overhead covers to sort you out should the rain come, so check ahead and see if your local has a space for you even when it’s pouring down.

We hope you all get to enjoy yourself in a beer garden - all while remaining safe, sensible and following physical distancing.
