And we will keep a close eye on the M5, where there are long delays heading south out of Gloucestershire, the M4 and M50 throughout our region.
The day began with the usual delays on the A48 at Minsterworth, around the Air Balloon roundabout on the A417, and the A40 into Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Temporary traffic lights were also stuck on red in New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, while police in Evesham are appealing for information after a pedestrian was seriously injured on Saturday.
Later on Monday, drivers were held up on the M5 at Tewkesbury.

Only issue with the M5 is around Junction 5
There’s still one lane closed going northbound. Gloucestershire’s congestion has eased and the roads appear to be running smoothly.
Accident in Cheltenham cleared
Traffic returned to normal, earlier accident on A46 Shurdington Road at Farm Lane.

Restrictions lifted around Tewkesbury
Lane one of the M5 is no longer closed around Junction 9 (northbound). There are still some delays however.
Broken down car
One lane is closed due to a broken down vehicle on the M5 Northbound between J5 and J4A M42. Traffic is coping well.
Delays have increased
As we approach one of the busiest times of the day for travel, the traffic cameras suggest drivers on the M5 are now facing a hold-up of around 30 minutes.
Junction 6 update
All lanes open and the broken down vehicle has been removed from Junction 6 Northbound.
Overturned car causing significant delays
One lane is closed and there is queueing traffic due to an overturned car on the M5 Northbound between J9 (Tewkesbury) and J8 for the M50. Congestion to J10 (Cheltenham).
Lane one of three is closed.
Lane closure
One lane is closed due to a broken down vehicle on the M5 Northbound between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich / Wychbold). Traffic is coping well.
M49 closed due to accident in Bristol
M49 Southbound closed, stationary traffic due to accident from M4 J22 to M5 J18.
Reports suggest this involves two lorries.
Delays hit 40 minutes on M5
Stop-start traffic on M5 Southbound from J14 B4509 (Thornbury / Falfield) to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead). Travel time is around 40 minutes.
Holiday traffic on the move - Picks up in Places. Not helped by an earlier vehicle fire that has cleared.
Crash in Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham
Reports of accident, two vehicles involved on A4019 Tewkesbury Road at Sandpiper Drive. Traffic is coping well.

Stop-start traffic on M5 Southbound from J14 B4509 (Thornbury / Falfield) to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead). Travel time is around 30 minutes.

A40 - HIGHNAM - EASTBOUND
Queueing traffic on A40 Eastbound from Churcham and Birdwood to A48 (Highnam Roundabout). Travel time is five minutes.
A40 LANSDOWN ROAD - CHELTENHAM - INBOUND
Heavy traffic on A40 Lansdown Road inbound between Church Road (Triumph Traffic Lights) and A4015 Montpellier Walk / Back Montpellier Terrace. Travel time is four minutes.
Temporary traffic lights stuck on red
Motorists were left seeing red – doubly – after traffic lights got stuck on a key road in Cheltenham.
There are temporary traffic lights on New Barn Lane, in Prestbury, which are showing red in both directions.
This has caused queuing traffic in both directions during the early rush hour. More here
