The worst drivers in Gloucestershire have been revealed, and they're not from where you would necessarily expect.
Analysis of DVLA data shows that a total of 2.7million drivers in Britain have collected points on their licence for speeding or motoring offences.
The highest proportion of motorists in Gloucestershire with points on their licence, some 1,128 drivers, are in the G12 postcode area.
Statistically, one in 11 of the 11,819 licensed drivers in the area have points or 9.5 per cent. This is nearly double the national average.
The GL12 postcode area is used for the town of Wotton-under-Edge, and the wider area of the Cotswolds, Stroud and South Gloucestershire.

The national average is 6.6 per cent as roughly one in 15 motorists have points on their driving licence.
GL9 has the 'second worst' drivers in Gloucestershire with 9.2 per cent having at least one point on their licence.
Rounding off the top three is the GL19 area, where 8.9 per cent of people have some points on their licence.
The area, which is primarily Gloucester, includes Staunton, Redmarley, Huntley, Hatbury and Tibberton.
The other two post codes in the top five worst drivers are GL13 at 8.9 per cent and the city centre postcode of GL1, at 8.7 per cent.
Head of roads policy for the AA, Jack Cousens, said: "When it comes to driving, points certainly do not mean prizes.
"In fact, it can become costly as a driver with any points on their licence could see their insurance premiums rise by hundreds of pounds for several years.
"By driving carefully and considerately, drivers will not only save lives but save some cash."
A RAC Insurance spokesperson, Simon Williams, said: "Drivers have to report penalty points to their insurer, which will naturally lead to them suffering many years of higher premiums.
"But the biggest fear for every driver receiving penalty points must be that they are one step closer to losing their licence - and the devastating personal and professional impacts that could have."
