Firefighters are at the scene of a house fire in Gloucester.

The call was received by the emergency services at around 10.45am on Monday.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service was sent to an address in Archibald Street, near Trier Way, in the city centre.

Two fire engines were sent to the scene: one from Gloucester North and one from Gloucester South stations.

The first fire crew arrived at the scene at 10.49am.

So far two breathing apparatus and one hose reel has been used in the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and fire crews was still at the scene at 1pm.
