Heavy rain, M5 crashes and a blocked level crossing have meant misery for drivers in Gloucestershire this evening.
Motorists have faced long delays on the M5 with buses being diverted towards the M4 because of the heavy traffic.
There have also been cancellations on the train lines as the Friday getaway begins across the South West.

Stagecoach West said it had to divert a bus route from the M5 Southbound because the traffic is so heavy.
The 62 service will be diverting from Falfield via the A38 to the M4 Almondsbury Interchange to resume the normal route.
Train users have been told that they could be facing train cancellations or delays of up to an hour, after disruptions have been reported on the train lines.
A fault with the signalling system at Bristol Temple Meads caused problems earlier in the afternoon while Oldend Lane in Stonehouse remains blocked after a level crossing failure.

One lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M5 Northbound from J5 A38 (Droitwich / Wychbold) to J4A M42. Traffic is coping well.

A417 closed - Lorry being recovered from ditch
The A417 Bromesberrow Eastbound is closed due to recovery work and earlier accident.
The road is closed from Beach Land to M50 J2 Ledbury.
A lorry has left the road and is being recovered from a ditch.
