Police were called to a three-vehicle crash in Gloucester this morning.

The crash happened at Great Western Road, Gloucester, outside Gloucestershire Royal Hospital at around 9.40am.

The three vehicles involved were a yellow Vauxhall Astra driven by a man from Quedgeley , a black Kia driven by a woman from Cheltenham and a silver Citroen driven by a man from Cheltenham.

No one was injured but the man in the Astra was taken into the hospital for a check up.

Elsewhere in the county, police have been dealing with a serious two-car collision that saw the air ambulance called to take a woman to hospital.

A child was also injured and has been taken to hospital.
