Gloucester have revealed their match day ticket prices for the 2019-20 season.

There are increases in many parts of Kingsholm with the most expensive ticket now £68, compared to £65 last season, but they have also introduced a new pricing category for 18 to 25-year-olds to enable them to save money and are making it free entry for children aged five and under.

Once again, tickets are priced in three different categories for each Premiership fixture and in some areas prices have risen by as much as £5 in the highest band.

The local derbies against Bath, Bristol and Worcester have all been selected in the top Category A fixtures, along with the final home game of the season against Northampton.

Last season there were six Category A games in total but three of them were in the Heineken Champions Cup.

There are two Category C games – the cheapest match day tickets – against Sale and London Irish compared to just one last season with the rest of the Premiership fixtures in Category B.

Gloucester have not yet revealed the pricing and categories for the Heineken Cup or Premiership Rugby Cup fixtures.

As was the case last season, the early bird window to get discounted match tickets will finish at 5pm two days and four days before the game (based on a Saturday fixture) or two weeks and three days for Friday fixtures.

Tickets bought after that will be at full price and there will once again be a £3 match day supplement, which was introduced last season and comes into effect three hours before kick-off.

There have been increases across all three categories for the ‘gold’ and ‘silver’ seats in the Malvern Tyres Stand with the highest full price being £65, which increases to £68 if bought on the gate but would be available for £57 at the discounted early bird rate. Malvern Tyres silver tickets are £5 more expensive than last season with the full price rate, rising to £59.

The cheapest adult ticket is now £15 in the Speedy Skips Stand for a category C game when bought in advance at the early bird rate , which is £3 cheaper than the same ticket last season, with category B adult tickets in the terrace staying at the same price as last season while category A tickets have risen.

Prices in The Shed have remained at a similar level to last season with the highest full price ticket remaining at £42 and the early bird rate for Category A games increasing by £1 to £36.

Adult ticket prices in the bronze section of the Malvern Tyres Stand and Stowford Press Stand have seen increases apart from for early bird in category C.

Those in the new 18-25 pricing category could save as much as £15 on a ticket compared to adult prices with the cheapest ticket at £12 as part of Gloucester’s “on-going campaign to encourage the next generation of supporters” that also includes the new free tickets for those under five.

However, the highest full price junior ticket has risen from £20 to £29 in the silver seats of the Malvern Tyres stand for Category A games.

It is possible to get a junior ticket cheaper than last season in the Speedy Skips Stand though for some games with the cheapest at £5.

Gloucester Rugby said: “We have once again committed to lower match ticket prices for those supporters who purchase during the Early Bird   window.

“In a change to previous seasons, pricing for Champions Cup and Premiership Cup fixtures will be determined on a match by match basis, which provides the club with more flexibility to introduce special match ticket prices.

“We will also be running a number of great offers across the course of the season (e.g. 4 for 3) and these will be announced in due course.”
