Gloucester's "finest cafe" has left customers stunned by saying it's shutting up shop.

Tarbosh Cafe, in King's Walk, has revealed that it is closing its doors after around two years in the city centre.

And the news, which was made on the eatery's Facebook page, has devastated its loyal customers.

In January last year, Mona Besiso and partner Sam Mohamed celebrated running Tarbosh Arabic cafe for a year

The statement on Tarbosh's Facebook page suggested that personal reasons may be behind the restaurant's closure.

The post explained that the decision was not an easy one and they thanked everyone "for being a part of [their] adventure."
