The Domino's in Cheltenham on the Lower High Street has been closed for the majority of the week.

And with so many eateries in Cheltenham closing their doors for good - including The White Spoon, Falafel King and The Suffolk Kitchen - some assumed that it might be curtains for that branch of the pizza giant.

So what is going on?

Well don't fret pizza lovers as the store is due to reopen this Saturday, March 23.

A spokesperson said: "The store has been totally transformed with smart new signage and a freshly fitted open fronted kitchen.

The new layout has been designed to show the theatre of pizza-making, so customers can see their orders being handmade while they wait in a welcoming and inviting customer area."

Dominos has united two of the worlds most popular foods to introduce the CHEESEBURGER PIZZA to its menu.

Cheltenham High Street's store manager Leon said: "We're thrilled to be re-opening our doors to the people of Cheltenham, and we're celebrating the renovation by offering Any Size Pizza for £6.99 when you collect from store."

This offer will run from Monday, March 25 until Sunday, March 31 and will also be available in the stores on Bath Road and Gloucester Road in Cheltenham.

As well as a shiny new store, there are plenty of new pizza choices on offer too including the Delight Chicken, the Delight Vegi and the "mind-blowing mash-up" of the new Cheeseburger.
