Thousands of people flocked to Gloucester's Kingsholm Stadium to watch Olly Murs perform on Friday night - and he did not disappoint.

Dedicated fans arrived late on Thursday night and camped out in order to ensure that they got the best spot.

Crowds of people flooded the stadium entrance as bag searches were carried out.

The car park was overrun with bars and food stalls and there was plenty to choose from - with everything from pizza to burgers and pimms to prossecco.

After a short delay, things got underway a little later than planned with support act and former X-Factor winners Rak-Su taking to the stage at around 7:30pjm instead of 7:15pm but fans didn't seem to mind.

And during the band's set, the heavens seemed to open and the rain came down.

Although light to begin with, the rain soon became heavier and all hope of staying dry went out of the window - especially as large umbrellas were banned from the stadium and small umbrellas weren't allowed to be used during performances.

This didn't seem to bother the majority of people who rocked their ponchos and danced in the rain.

And revellers didn't have to wait for the main man himself to arrive.

Olly opened with some of his slightly newer songs before launching into some of the classics including: Dear Darlin', Wrapped Up and Up.

The cheeky chappy was quite chatty during the Gloucester gig - which was the final gig of his tour.

He opened up about his battle with mental health and joked about going on tour with One Direction.

Unfortunately as the night wore on, Storm Miguel seemed to much for some as they took to Twitter to complain that the rain had made them leave early.

Nevertheless, Olly rocked the stadium and bought some star quality to Gloucestershire.

He finished off the gig with a fan favourite and belted out Dance With Me Tonight.

From dancing police officers to a topless Olly, it was a night of fun in the rain.
