Junior Achievement RI in 2018-19
During the 2018-2019 school year, Junior Achievement of Rhode Island reached 13,701 students, representing overall student growth of 32 percent.
The increase in student growth is the result of Junior Achievement’s new work readiness program for eighth-graders, JA Inspire.
Students who participate in JA Inspire take a career assessment, conduct career research, and explore the skill and education requirements of jobs that interest them.
The highlight of the experience is the JA Inspire Career Exploration Fair, where students get to meet and participate in hands-on activities with nearly 120 exhibitors representing Rhode Island’s high-wage/high-demand industries.
