Texan to receive local Jefferson Award honor in Washington, D.C.

A local Texan volunteer is in the spotlight in the nation's capital. Sheree Boegner will be recognized Tuesday morning in Washington, D.C. for her local community service work.
She is the founder of the Sassy Shoe Social which raises money for a local domestic violence shelter call Phoebe's Home.
Boegner will be receiving he local version for the Jefferson Award Tuesday morning.
