A 41-year-old Helena woman was killed in a rollover near Jefferson City around 4 p.m. Friday.

The woman was traveling south on Interstate 15 in Jefferson County when she drifted onto the left-hand rumble strip and overcorrected, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The Subaru Legacy began to yaw and went off the right side of the road and overturned. The vehicle rolled multiple times and came to a rest on its top.

The victim was ejected, but it is unclear if she was wearing her seatbelt or not, according to the MHP report.

Alcohol, drugs and speed are all suspected factors in the crash.

The name of the victim has not been released.
