HELENA – Capital High senior Hunter Lindgren was on point Wednesday night.

Despite a pitch count, Lindgren went the distance, working around three errors and fanning four while his offense pounded the baseball as the Helena Senators rolled to an 11-1 victory over the Great Falls Chargers in six innings at Kindrick Legion Field.

According to 406 Sports, Lindgren limited the Chargers (3-5) to one unearned run on four hits and one walk, while the Senators' defense racked up three twin killings.

Matt Burton led the Helena batters with a 3-for-5 performance, scoring twice and driving home three runs, while Chase Nielsen had a perfect night at the plate, with three doubles in three at bats and two RBI.

Keeton Clark led the Chargers with two hits, scoring once.

The Chargers will be at Pirtz Field in Billings Sunday afternoon at 3 for a nine-inning game with the Scarlets.
