A WINCHESTER man has been convicted of attacking an on-duty paramedic.
John Michael Hughes, 55, assaulted Mr Reed in Pemerton Road, Weeke, on June 30.
Hughes, of Pemerton Road, admitted the assault and displaying a threat in writing.
Another charge of assault and threatening behaviour were withdrawn by the prosecutor at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
The Bench imposed a community order for Hughes to take part in the Resolve programme, with up to 15 days rehabilitation activity and the payment of a £90 victim surcharge.
