FLYTIPPING is rife in rural areas of the Winchester district – but it's not every day you see rubbish dumped in the city centre.
These photos show piles of waste left on the pavement of Hatherley Road in Fulflood.
Paul Newman, who took the photos, says the bin bags could be seen between April 23 and 24.
The rubbish includes two digital speakers, with the rest covered by the plastic bags.
As previously reported, Hampshire County Council has closed all Home Waste Recycling Centres until Government guidelines change.
