The Duchess of Cambridge has launched a gardening competition for children. The royal has teamed up with Blue Peter to invite viewers to design a sculpture for her next Back To Nature garden, which will be unveiled at RHS Garden Wisley in September.
Her original garden was unveiled at Chelsea Flower Show in May and Kate gave her three children, Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte a preview prior to the opening.
The duchess' new competition is part of her mission to get more people involved with nature and to help the public to see the benefits in being outdoors.
"It encourages creativity, confidence and even a short amount of time - 10 to 15 minutes outside - makes a huge difference to physical wellbeing but also to our mental wellbeing," she said.
The royal has also designed a series of outdoor activity cards to be used in her new garden. Two runners-up will have the chance to create their own versions for visitors to use within the green space upon its opening in autumn.
