Zachary Ardito | Baseball | Ansonia, Conn.
Zachary Ardito earned the start in 134 of the 144 games he appeared in during his four seasons with the Hawks. As an infielder, he batted .258, racking up 127 hits, 23 doubles, seven triples and 63 RBIs. In the field he recorded 127 putouts and 270 assists for a .964 fielding percentage. Ardito earned numerous accolades during his career, including America East All-Conference First and Second Team accolades, as well as NEIBA All-New England Second Team honors in 2018. He graduated in May with a degree in criminal justice.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused the abrupt end to winter and spring sports for the 2019-20 academic year, as well as the cancelation of several end-of-the-year activities for all student-athletes. The University of Hartford Department of Athletics would like the opportunity to thank our seniors for their dedication through their chosen sport.
