HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The suspect wanted in a bank robbery earlier this week has been arrested, authorities said.

According to a CrimeStoppers release, police located and arrested the 34-year-old suspect around 10:45 p.m. Thursday in Manoa area.

He’s being held on suspicion of second-degree theft.

Investigators say the robbery incident happened just after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Hawaiian Bank branch near Chinatown.

The suspect allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money before fleeing on a skateboard. Sources said he got away with about $1,100.
