RESIDENTS at Charles Court warmly welcomed Beavers from the 22nd Hereford Scout Group.
The five to eight year olds met the residents and helped out at tea time serving cold drinks and sandwiches.
The residents were treated to the children's knot creating skills and receiving crayon coloured bird pictures they had made during their two visits.
The children's drawings will be added to a mural that the residents are currently creating in their Tuesday arts and crafts sessions.
The mural will be permanently displayed in the aviary themed resident's dining room.
Clarissa Haley, activities coordinator at Charles Court said "The residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting the children and recounted their own recollections of time spent in the Brownies and Girl Guides".
Sarah Osbourne, 22nd Hereford Scout leader commented "It was lovely to see our Beavers growing in confidence when tasked with serving tea to the residents and seeing the gratitude and enthusiasm they received when they gifted their coloured pictures to be included in the aviary mural".
