Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of George Boyd against Rotherham United.

Boyd featured for Wednesday in their Championship game against Rotherham away from home at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 33-year-old winger started the match and played for 75 minutes, as it ended in a 2-2 draw.

According to WhoScored, the Scottish winger had a pass accuracy of 64.7%, made one tackle, one interception and one clearance, and played three key passes.

Boyd started the match well and looked lively, but the winger struggled to impose himself on the game and faded away as the game progressed.

The former Hull City and Burnley winger has made seven starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Wednesday so far this season, according to WhoScored.

The draw with Rotherham means that Steve Bruce’s side are now 15th in the Championship table with 41 points from 32 matches.

Wednesday fans were not impressed with the performance of Boyd and have criticised the winger on Twitter.
