Serie A starlet Zinho Vanheusden could reportedly be on his way to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers or Southampton.
Inter Milan defender Zinho Vanheusden is expected to seal a permanent move away from the San Siro this summer with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton just two of the interested parties, according to Het Belang van Limburg.
The 19-year-old centre-back joined Inter’s academy in 2015 but, despite being one of the most highly-rated young defenders in Europe, he has not yet made a first team debut for the Italian giants.
This is partly down to some serious injuries, including a cruciate ligament blow he suffered back in September 2017.
But Vanheusden seized his chance to remind everyone of his qualities during a loan spell in his native Belgium with Standard Liege during the 2018/19 campaign. He made 30 appearances for the Jupiler League outfit.
As a result, his price-tag has soared to somewhere in the region of £18 million with Premier League duo Wolves and Southampton both interested in a player is was named after the former Brazil star Zinho.
Wolves probably have the firepower to blow Southampton out of the water in a straight fight, given that their billionaire owners have shown plenty of ambition since taking over at Molineux in 2016.
