Ipswich Town’s Bartosz Bialkowski has been linked with Millwall and Birmingham.
According to a report in The East Anglian Daily Times, Ipswich Town value Bartosz Bialkowski at £1.5 million as both Millwall and Birmingham City eye a summer deal for the goalkeeper.
The Pole is said to be considering his options this summer following Ipswich’s relegation to League One. It is suggested that he wants to play at a higher level next season.
Ipswich have already gone about replacing him as they seemingly seem resigned to lose him. Tomas Holy joined from Gillingham, while Adam Przybek arrived on a free transfer after leaving West Bromwich Albion.
Birmingham are said to have long been interested in Bialkowski. The Blues, however, are facing uncertainty this summer with question marks over the future of manager Garry Monk.
Millwall lost number one David Martin to West Ham United this summer in what was a surprise transfer. Moreover, Jordan Archer is set to leave when his contract expires while Ben Amos returned to Bolton Wanderers following his loan spell.
The Lions don’t have a recognised senior goalkeeper, and manager Neil Harris will make a new keeper a top priority at The Den this summer. However, with seemingly one of the lowest budgets in the Championship, Ipswich’s valuation of Bialkowski could make a deal quite difficult to reach.
