Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Ajax winger.
Liverpool came so close to winning the Premier League title last season, missing out by just one point to Manchester City.
The Reds did manage to win the Champions League, however, so it ended up being a superb season for them.
If they want to improve once again next season though, Jurgen Klopp will need to add some quality to his squad.
One particular area where Liverpool might want to strengthen is their attacking department, with a lack of real competition for their current front three.
According to the Mirror, Klopp is looking to address that issue by making a move for Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech, who could be available for just £30 million this summer.
The 26-year-old was on fire for Ajax last season, racking up 21 goals and 24 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions, and he would be an excellent addition for the Merseyside outfit.
Ziyech is a right winger by trade, but he can also operate in central midfield, and that kind of versatility would be a real asset for Liverpool.
The Moroccan possesses blistering pace, and he plays with a certain kind of directness that would make him ideally suited to Klopp’s high-octane setup at Anfield.
In today’s day and age, £30 million for a player with Ziyech’s ability would surely be considered as a real bargain, and Liverpool must do everything within their power to bring him to Merseyside this summer.
