Farmington Glen Swim Club overtakes Forest Hill in NSSL Championships

After slowly climbing the rankings at the National Suburban Swim League Championships for the past seven years, the Farmington Glen Swim Club unseated Forest Hills, whichhad won the League A championship each season since 2002. 

Farmington Glen won 18 of the 45 individual events, including 16 events in which the club had two or more swimmers finish in the top 6. Farmington Glen also won three of its six total relays. 

Along with the championship, Farmington Glen won its dual meet against Forest Hills in 2019 for the second straight season. 

For the past seven years, Farmington Glen has improved its standing within the NSSL. Finishing in seventh place in 2013, the club finished in second place from 2016-18, losing to Forest Hills by only 60 points last year. 

The Farmington Glen Swim Club outscored Forest Hills by 139.5 points this year, scoring 951 points to secure the 2019 NSSL A Championship.
