Best cafes in Bangalore

In Bengaluru, you are literally never more than a few steps away from a cafe (coming from the airport to the city doesn't count). They are as many as 1500+ cafes scattered all over the bustling city.

But if you're looking for some variety, there are a few independent cafes out there--think warm, beautiful and cozy--that smell like heaven and are brilliant when it comes to service. This list is a celebration of those happy spots where if you go once, you'll want to go again.

1. DYU Art Cafe

This premier-style art cafe is known for decadent treats and rich coffee. The vibes are quaint and the baked goods are plentiful. So if you find yourself chilling around Koramangala, stop for a slice of their banoffee pie.

2. The White Room Cafe

If the classy name isn't enough of a giveaway, we'll give you another glimpse into The White Room. It's not your average cafe. Delicious coffee aside, their pancakes with a drizzle of maple syrup are absolutely fabulous!

3.  The Teal Door Cafe

A local-approved gem nestled in Indiranagar, The Teal Door Cafe dishes out quirky twists of Indian Street Food. Also this cafe proudly boasts interiors that are mostly recycled or upcycled. Clearly a cafe with heart. Locals swear by their golgappas filled with paneer or chicken tikka masala.

4. Art of Delight

A fitting name for this sophisticated dessert cafe, The Art of Delight has nailed the art of delighting customers with their crafted ice-creams and signature desserts. After a night of partying in Koramangla, stop in to have their Nutella cheesecake.

5. Little Green Cafe

Green theory's latest venture, Little Green Cafe is the go-to place if you are always on the look out for delicious food that's also easy on the calories. We've heard their Thai Green Curry with semi-polished Kerala Rice is a must-try!

6. The Bangalore Cafe

The Main Course which we ignore most of the times and have it the most. Here at @thebangalorecafe Peshawari kofta, Brocolli saag and Panner Taka Tak are fantastically made here. The Malai parotas had with broccoli saag is one amazing combination. Chur Chur naan was well prepared too. @onetallgirl.onejourney I know it's not as good as your flatlays Ghatotkatcha rates: 4.5/5 #ghatotkatchaeats #eattheworld #indianfood #ifoundawesome #lbbbangalore #eatingfortheinsta #northindianfood #bae #naan #bread #trellingfood #food #nammakarnatakaphotographers #bangalorecafes #walkwithindia #storiesofindia #foodtalesofindia #foodtalkindia #shotonmi #travelkarnataka #fbab #foodphotography #foodpictures #bangalorebloggers

Known for serving traditional dishes with a modern twist inside sharp interiors, The Bangalore cafe is a solid spot for your next brunch date. Famed for super tasty vegetarian options, we can't wait to taste their DIY nachos and moti malai tikka.

7. Cafe Pink Pajamas

A cozy cafe housed in Kalyan Nagar, Pink Pajamas serves up some flavourful savoury dishes. Stop by for a bite and grab a seat next to their floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the cool weather. And be sure to grab an order of their Thai chicken burger. It's divine.
