The Meerut Police have arrested at least four people for attacking a businessman when he was sitting in his office. The CCTV cameras installed at the office of the businessman, Jameel Ahmed, showed the four masked attackers entering the office and opening several rounds of fire before fleeing from the spot. According to the Meerut Police, the shootout was the result of an altercation that took place between the victim, Jameel, and the main accused, Deepak, at a gym. The four suspects, identified as Prince, Ritik, Deepak and Sehwag, all between 19-22, were arrested and sent to jail. "There was a fight between two parties in the gym. In connection with the firing incident that followed, a case has been registered at Inchauli police station and 4 accused involved in the incident have been arrested and sent to jail," Meerut Police said on X while responding to the incident.
