Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot presented a vote on accounts in Rajasthan assembly with a fiscal deficit as a percentage of GSDP at three percent. The fiscal deficit stands at Rs 29 thousand 983 crore.

Gehlot announced numerous sops in his interim budget speech. The biggest one was a waiver of all outstanding cooperative short term crop loans of all the farmers in all categories up to Rs 2 lakh. More than 24 lakh farmers to benefit. Rs 15 thousand crore have been kept in 2019-20 for it.

Senior citizens in the families of marginal and small farmer families will get old age pension.

Gehlot gave Rs 2 per litre bonus to all the milk producers who supply milk to cooperative diary federations for more than five lakh milk producers.

Rs 1377 crore have been kept for enhancement of old age pension of 46 lakh pensioners.

The wheat will be given at Re 1 a kilo to the 1.74 crore poor.

And 1.6 lakh youth will get enhanced monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 3,500 for women and Rs 3,000 for men for two years.

The reservations for disabled have been raised to four percent from three percent.

All women students to get education free in colleges up to post-graduation.

Gehlot also proposed a renovation of feeder system of various canals, setting up of Baneshwar Dham Development Board and solar based community lift irrigation projects in tribal areas.
