Former Naxal shot dead in Jharkhand

A former naxal was shot dead by unidentified persons in Jharkhand's Seraikela-Kharswan district, police said Friday.

Ramvilas Lohra was shot dead by unidentified persons at Khunti village of the district on Thursday. He was rushed to Tata Main Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chandil), D N Banka said.

The SDPO said police investigation was on.
