The Delhi Police on Wednesday (March 15) arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly drugging and raping a 16-year-old girl in New Delhi. The accused has been arrested under POCSO Act.
The girl alleged that the accused, Indrajeet, mixed sedatives in her drink and raped her.
According to the police, the victim left her home to stay with one of her friends after a fight with her parents. The victim's friend asked her to visit her boyfriend Indrajeet's house rather.

In the morning, the girl complained of pain in her body and was rushed to the nearby hospital.
The 16-year-old girl is a student of class 10 and is currently under treatment.
The minor's friend will also be investigated in the case.
