Addressing a public meeting organised at Godhar Maidan in Dhanbad, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das lashed out at the Congress and called the party a gang of "chirkuts" and "rain frogs" as "they come out to make sounds only during elections".

Raghubar Das said, "Some will come and croak in the name of caste and some in the name of community. Hold them accountable for the corrupt rule over India for 67 years neglecting welfare works."

"If the Congress had acted with integrity, today, our country would have been the number one country in the world. But these chotta [scoundrel] Congressmen have indulged in corruption and looted the money of the poor," Raghubar Das said in Dhanbad.

Once done with the Congress, Raghubar Das trained guns at Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) saying that Shibu Soren and his sone Hemant Soren "looted the tribals' land when they were in the power in Jharkhand". Raghubar Das said, "The Soren family has been filling their vote boxes by misleading poor tirbals for years through propaganda. The Soren family violated CNT-SPT Act [Chhotanagpur Tenancy-Santhal Pargana Tenancy]. They looted the land of tribals and and became zamindars of Jharkhand."

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das while referring to women power said, "Without women power, our family and our society is not a whole. But there has also been some distortions in the society. The instances of rape of small girls have increased very fast in the society. Such incidents are blots on our Indian culture."
