Chhattisgarh has 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in total. The polling for 11 Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh was held in three phases on April 11, 18 and 23.

Lok Sabha Election Result for Chhattisgarh to be out today

The Lok Sabha election result 2019 of Chhattisgarh will be declared on May 23. The fate of 166 contestants will be decided as the counting of the votes will begin at 8 am.

Chhattisgarh has 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in total. The polling for 11 Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh was held in three phases on April 11, 18 and 23. In total 71.48 per cent voter turnout was recorded in the polls.

Naxal-hit Bastar (ST) constituency was the only seat to go to polls on April 11. Naxals triggered an IED blast in Narayanpur district in Bastar Lok Sabha constituency but no injury or casualty could take place due to special security measures with the deployment of 80,000 security personnel.

Polls to Kanker (ST), Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund seats were held on April 18 in the second phase.
The remaining seven Lok Sabha seats - Surguja (ST), Raigarh (ST), Janjgir-Champa (SC), Raipur, Durg, Korba and Bilaspur witnessed polling on April 23.

According to India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll for Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha elections 2019, the BJP is likely to emerge victorious at seven to eight seats. The Congress may get three to four seats.
In 2014, BJP had won 10 out of 11 seats in the state. Some exit polls have projected neck and neck fight between the Congress and the BJP as the CVoter gave 6 seats to the NDA and Jan Ki Baat 5-6 seats in Chhattisgarh.

In 2018 assembly elections, the BJP suffered a serious setback in Chhattisgarh as the Congress party won a phenomenal number of 68 out of 90 states in Chhattisgarh. Former chief minister and BJP leader Raman Singh then submitted his resignation.
