Delhi Lok Sabha Exit Poll Results 2019: BJP likely to sweep polls, AAP to hit rock bottom

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to near repeat its 2014 Lok Sabha tally in Delhi. According to India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll, the BJP is likely to win 6-7 seats, Congress 0-1 and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 0 seats.
Most exit polls predicted a sweep for the BJP in Delhi with some predicting that the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP may draw a blank in the national capital in the Lok Sabha election, results of which are scheduled to be declared on May 23.
Some exit polls have projected that Congress may gain in Delhi by winning one seat.
Ahead of the polls, many had speculated that the BJP would find itself on a sticky wicket because of demonetisation, GST and very recently sealing of illegal commercial spaces.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, BJP had swept all the seven Delhi Lok Sabha Seats.

The seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi are Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi.
Some of the key candidates in Delhi are Gautam Gambhir, Sheila Dikshit, Atishi, Raghav Chadha and Manoj Tiwari.
The schedule for the 2019 Lok Sabha election was announced by the Election Commission of India on March 10. The 542 Lok Sabha seats in the country went to poll in seven phases.
The last phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha election was held today in 59 Lok Sabha constituencies.
The official result of the 2019 Lok Sabha seat will be announced by the Election Commission on May 23.
