The objective is to reach out to people and convey that the recent airstrike in Pakistan was only possible because of the Modi Government.

"The brave, courageous decisions of the Narendra Modi-led Government have made India proud. Considering those decisions, we have named this festival 'Shaurya Rangotsav'. Such decisions of the Government which were never taken earlier: airstrike, surgical strike, GST, whether it be the decision of making China retrace in Doklam, the message of cleanliness. No one thought about toilets till now, no one thought about Mudra Yojana till today. So, taking those decisions into consideration, we have named it 'shaurya mahotsav rangotsav'," Ashish Jain, incharge, publicity department, BJP, told India Today.

Sandeep Jain, District Vice President, Jaipur Rural, told India Today, "I have come to purchase 'Gulaal' and all our workers in Jaipur rural district will celebrate Holi as Shaurya Holi and I have come to purchase 10 packets of Gulaal."

Apart from packets of Gulaal kept at the Atal Sahitya Kendra, there are large hoardings and cut-outs with pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP's chief Amit Shah on them. Some of the slogans on these packets and posters read, 'Shaurya se aai rangon ki bahaar phir ek baar Modi sarkaar', 'phir eik baar, Modi sarkaar', 'chalo milkar rang udaayein, modi sang holi manaayein', 'shaurya rangotsav' and 'modi hai, toh mumkin hai'.
