The biggest task for the BJP was to make inroads with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in the Santhal Pargana region. The BJP has performed incredibly on all the three seats in Santhal. JMM president Shibu Soren struggled for his seat.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das attributed the credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who came to the state for campaigning five times and addressed several rallies despite the scorching heat. The chief minister himself addressed more than 80 election rallies in the state.

He feels the overwhelming response of the voters is a certificate of good deliverance of the Modi government at Centre and the BJP-led state government in Jharkhand. The policies rolled out by both the governments have gone well with voters. Above all, the people firmly believe that even in the remotest area, the country is safe from all perspectives in BJP's hands and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.

National issues have dominated and people from all walks, castes, religions, communities have their shown trust in Modi. Clearly, all of them have voted for the BJP, shifting from their traditional voting pattern.

In total there are 48 lakh Muslims, 14 lakh Christians, 71 thousand Sikh, 27 per cent OBCs and 22 per cent Scheduled Tribes voters in Jharkhand. Many say that without their votes, the BJP would not have been able to register an impressive show in Lok Sabha 2019 election.

The government's Ujjwala Yojna, Swachh Bharat, Sukanya Yojna, Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna, ODF-free campaign and the Ayushman Bharat Yojna seem to have struck the right chord in far-flung and in urban areas. The beneficiary have kept their loyalty intact with the saffron brigade.

The triumphant BJP is on upbeat and jubilant mood after their massive success. However, all of them admitted candidly that the Modi magic has again recreated wonders in the country and on all 14 seats in Jharkhand. Marginally, they might have missed to encash on few seats but by and large the party surges high and ahead.
