Nine persons, including five children, were killed on Wednesday when their car was hit by a dumper in Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh, police said.

The car was on its way from Lalitpur to Sagar. Five persons have been admitted to a hospital and are in serious condition.

On November 7, three people were killed and another was injured when a car was hit by a truck in Pratapgarh on Wednesday, police said.

Four occupants of the car were injured in the accident in the district in Uttar Pradesh.

On November 6, six people died and 13 others were injured after a bus collided with another vehicle in Gunnaur in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district.

According to the police, the accident took place due to heavy fog.

"The incident occurred due to low visibility caused by fog," the Superintendent of Police of Sambhal, Yamuna Prasad said.
