Ahmedabad man gets Pak PM, Ram Rahim BJP membership, booked for forgery

The cyber cell of Ahmedabad crime branch in Gujarat on Saturday booked a man for forgery. The accused has been identified as 40-year-olf Ghulam Fareed Shaikh of Shahpur area in Ahmedabad.

The man allegedly got Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) membership.

Not just Imran Khan, the man also got the BJP e-membership cards for rape convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and Asaram Bapu.

The accused had also reportedly circulated the e-membership cards of Imran Khan, Asaram Bapu and Ram Rahim on social media.

Ahmedabad city general secretary of BJP Kamlesh Patel said that the accused circulated the e-membership cards of Imran Khan, Asaram Bapu and Gurmeet Ram Rahim to tarnish the image of the saffron party.

In an FIR, Kamlesh Patel said that Shaikh circulated the membership cards on various WhatsApp groups to harm the image of the BJP.
