A 35-year-old slipped into a 30-feet-deep gorge while attempting a selfie in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor. He survived with a few bruises and a fractured leg.

A 35-year-old slipped into a 30-feet-deep gorge while attempting a selfie in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor.

The man has been identified as Satya Narayan. He fell off the cliff while he was clicking a selfie at Boyakonda Gangamma temple in Madanapally area, Chittoor district.

The devotees at the temple alerted the authority in time about. Soon, he was helped out of the gorge. He was severely injured and immediately rushed to Punganur Government hospital.

He survived with a few bruises and a fractured leg. He is now out of danger.

This incident comes a day after nation bid adieu to Sujith Wilson, the 2-year-old Tamil Nadu boy who died after he fell into an abandoned borewell and was stuck in there for over 80 hours.

Tamil Nadu Principal Secretary J Radhakrishnan on Tuesday announced that the little kid -- Sujith Wilson -- who fell into an open borewell in Manapparai, Trichy on Saturday had died. He was later bid adieu by inconsolable parents and hundred of villagers from in and around Sujith's village.
