Bihar: Former RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin's nephew shot dead
The incident took place on Friday night. When Yusuf was taken to Sadar hospital, he was declared brought dead.
Yusuf, nephew of former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Mohammad Shahabuddin was shot dead in Siwan on Friday night.
A resident of Pratappur village, Yusuf was shot from close range and had been lying on the roadside for close to an hour, the police said.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.

The former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, who is a close aide of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, was convicted of murder on December 9, 2015 and sentenced to life imprisonment. On August 30 last year, the high court upheld their conviction and sentence.
The gangster-turned politician Mohammad Shahabuddin has almost 63 cases against his name relating to murders and kidnapping.
Shahabuddin has been listed as "A" type history sheeter by Bihar government which means that a criminal who is beyond reforms.
