Constable, criminal injured in encounter in Delhi's Khazoori Khas area

One police constable was injured and a wanted criminal, Raja Mewati, received a bullet injury in an encounter that broke out between police and the accused in New Delhi's Khazoori Khas area on Monday.
Raja alias Akir Rehman is a wanted criminal who has two criminal cases against him, North East Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Atul Thakur said.

The constable, identified as Manoj, and the accused Raja are admitted in GTB Hospital in New Delhi and are stable, police said.
