3.1-magnitude quake hits Shimla, no casualty reported

A moderate intensity earthquake with 3.1 magnitudes shook Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district on Wednesday evening.

There was no report of any casualty or damage to property, the meteorological department said.

The quake's epicenter was at a depth of 10 km northeast in Shimla, the meteorological department said, adding that tremors were felt in and around the district at 7.55 pm
