Faridabad: Fed up with girlfriend, lover conspires with her ex to kill her
The victim's lovers have been identified as Vimal and Surjeet. The two accused confessed to the crime on being interrogated.
A few days after the decomposed body of a woman was found in Badwali lake in Faridabad, police have arrested four men in connection with the case. Two of the accused are the victim's lover and ex-lover and the other two are said to be their accomplices.
The victim's lovers have been identified as Vimal and Surjeet. The two accused confessed to the crime on being interrogated.
Accused Vimal, Manisha's ex-lover, told the police that he had taken Rs 10,000 from the victim. After Vimal failed to return the money to Manisha, she fought with him and even misbehaved with his parents.
After breaking-up with Vimal, Manisha befriended Surjeet. However, Surjeet's parents fixed his wedding to another woman. In a fit of rage, Manisha called the girl's parents and told them about her relationship with Surjeet.
It was then Vimal and Surjeet conspired to kill Manisha.
On June 14, they went to Manisha's house along with two of their friends and killed her. They then packed her body in a suitcase and dropped it into the Badwali lake in Faridabad.
The body of the victim, identified as Manisha, was found in a bag, floating in the lake. She was identified by the name 'Manisha' that was tattooed on left.
