It is in the public domain that Tabrez Ansari was brutally thrashed by an unruly mob on June 17 on the allegations of a bike theft.

Tabrez Ansari was made to chant Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman.

A video went viral how crowd tied Tabrez Ansari to a pole and beat him black and blue. In the morning, the police was informed.

The police took Tabrez Ansari to Sadar Hospital for primary medical aid before forwarding him to judicial custody. His condition deteriorated and he died on June 22.

The Jharkhand High Court had called for detailed report on mob lynching at Saraikela Kharsawan on June 17 and anti-mob lynching rally on July 5.

The court had reprimanded the government and glaring lapses in dereliction of the duty were pointed out.

The government had submitted that suitable actions were taken against the erring officials including the civil surgeon and many others. But on the contrary, the viscera report has left even the administration and officers baffled.

Leader of opposition in Jharkhand -- Hemant Soren -- has taken a jibe on the government on this report.

He ridiculed the viscera report.

Making fun he said that when there is a death due to starvation government claims it was due to a disease. When someone hangs himself because of government apathy the statement issued is it was because of personal problem. Now when there was death in mob lynching government says it was due to a cardiac arrest.
