Patna Mayor's son winked at me during meeting: Councillor lodges police complaint

A ward councillor in the Patna municipality has alleged that the son of Municipal Council Mayor was teasing her and winking at her during a board meeting. The accused Shishir Kumar was present at the meeting even though he is not part of the municipality.

When ward councillor Pinki Kumari raised the matter with the Mayor Sita Sahu, she brushed off the allegations against her son and said that the woman was only seeking attention.

Pinki Kumari is the ward councillor of ward number 21 of the Patna municipality. She has lodged a complaint with the Kadamkua police station against Shishir Kumar.

The councillor has said that when Shishir Kumar was teasing her, she told him that she will report it to his mother, however, he continued with the behaviour.

Pinki Kumari has alleged that during the meeting, she raised objections against the Mayor's proposals and soon after her son started making indecent gestures at her.

As she objected to Shishir Kumar's behaviour, it ensued in high drama at the board meeting.

She has further said that she will take up the matter with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar while also raising a complaint with the police.

Shishir Kumar has denied all charges and said that recently Pinki Kumari was thrown out of the permanent committee of the municipality and she is making these charges as revenge.
